Michael's Homemade Potato Chips

You may never buy store bought chips again after making these. And they are super easy!

Simply peel and slice a potato (we use a mandolin for uniform size). Soak the potatoes for 20 minutes to remove starches and then pat dry.

Heat a fryer filled with peanut oil to 375 degrees. Fry the chips until golden- about 4 minutes, drain on paper towels, sprinkle with sea salt and fresh black pepper and devour.

  2. I bet they'd be good with some bbq rub. So easy and simple, I don't know why we don't do them. Thanks for sharing.
